There are several aspects to improve the cleaning efficiency of industrial high-pressure cleaning machines, mainly reflected in the full utilization of pressure and flow rate, efficient conversion of pressure energy into velocity energy, optimized design of nozzles, and the exertion of target impact force.


The impact force of high-pressure water

When the high-pressure water jet is a stable and continuous liquid flow, the pressure acting on the impacted object is called the impact pressure. The impact force is proportional to the square of the jet velocity, so maximizing the nozzle outlet jet velocity is the key to improving cleaning efficiency.


High pressure water jet velocity

Try to minimize the resistance loss, winding loss, joint loss, and nozzle resistance loss of high-pressure hoses. In short, make every effort to reduce the pressure loss from the pump to the nozzle.

The flow rate emitted from the nozzle is often replaced by the flow rate of the water pump when calculating. In fact, the nozzle flow rate is smaller than the water pump flow rate because the nozzle aperture cannot be scientifically selected, and some of the flow rate overflows and returns to the water tank through the bypass pipe.

High pressure water jet power

Jet power represents the total working capacity of the jet, which is directly proportional to the pressure and flow rate of the jet. From this, it can be seen that increasing the pressure and flow rate of high-pressure water jets can increase the power of the jet, and both are proportional to the power of the jet. In fact, there is a significant difference in the effectiveness of both methods in combating scale, and not all of them are directly proportional. Pressure is designed for the strength of the scale, that is, if the pressure is lower than the destructive strength of the scale, the scale will not be damaged. When the pressure is sufficient, if you want to significantly improve the effect of destroying scale, increasing the pressure becomes a secondary condition, mainly relying on increasing the high-pressure water jet flow rate to achieve this effect. Therefore, under a certain pressure, flow rate is an important factor in improving cleaning efficiency. If the important role of the flow rate of the cleaning machine is ignored, it will lead to a significant decrease in cleaning efficiency.


Design of nozzle aperture

After determining the pressure and flow rate of the high-pressure plunger pump according to the cleaning requirements, the nozzle aperture is basically determined. Of course, the nozzle aperture must ensure the full utilization of the cleaning machine's pressure and flow rate, that is, to keep the high-pressure water pump working at rated pressure and rated flow conditions at all times. Therefore, a small nozzle aperture becomes a key technical issue affecting the efficiency of the cleaning machine.
